gosh what lovely pics! I simply adore looking at pics like these - certainly gives a blast to the past feeling!! I love how different beauty standards were back in the 50s. Strong defined lips, big hair, high waisted skirts etcetc. Waay better than the whole "anorexic" look now.

Yes I'm just fascinated by the old-school styles - they were often so much prettier, classier and more flattering. And yeah, the body types were much more pleasing to the eye as well. The bony look is so ugly and sad in my opinion.

Ooh yes, and it wasn't just good bone structure but an inner warmth and luminosity she seemed to have, sort of like Marilyn... I can only imagine what it must've been like to encounter either of them in real life.
